Who are we?
Bernard Matthews Foods is a food production company based in Derby, we are part of the Boparan Private Office, a group that contains multiple food brands and restaurants. At our Derby site, we specialise in ‘added value’ poultry products with 3 key production areas: ‘RTE - ready to eat’, ‘RTC - ready to cook’ and our Butchery/DSI site – supplying to a range of customers such as: M&S, Tesco, Aldi, Co-op, Nandos.
What will I be doing?
As a Finance Analyst, you will be required to analyse data, measure KPI’s and identify trends. Key responsibilities include:
- Support and maintain Actuals V Budget analysis
- Liaise, partner, and resolve queries with various other departments with the business
- Generate monthly forward margin reports
- Support with FP&A
What do I need to be successful in the role?
· Excellent Excel skills
· Ideally some costing or FP&A experience
· Exposure to working to tight deadlines
· Analytical mindset
· Hands on / Business partnering
· Ideally some cashflow forecasting
· Can do attitude
