Your role will be to efficiently lead the production team in carrying out all required factory production operations. This includes the operating of multiple cable extrusion lines, carrying out end of line QC inspection, raw material and component processing tasks including SAP ERP system use, to meet production schedule requirements. The Production Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and is required on site. On offer is a salary of up to £42k.
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Plan and manage shift resource, production and support activities, ensuring that production schedules are adhered to efficiently
- Performance management and development of production team
- Responsible for running of production extrusion lines and associated equipment, in line with company and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on Production KPIs and metrics to ensure targets are achieved
- Ensure all relevant production data is entered into the company SAP ERP systems accurately in real time
What you will bring:
- Attained an apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline is desirable.
- 4+ years working in a Production environment with good knowledge of production machinery, equipment or similar continuous process.
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and techniques
- Proficient in the use of MRP systems such as SAP with supporting IT skills in Excel and Word
- Ability to analyse and resolve technical problems at root cause
