Join our Team!

We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for an Admissions Onboarder to join our team.

The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient customer- service focused, and data compliant service, to admit and onboard applicants to BDC.

This role will assess applications, make offers, support students through enrolment and provide customer service to applicants to support their admission, from initial application through to induction.

The successful candidate will be required to have a keen eye for data accuracy, and a desire to provide outstanding customer service in person and through digital and telephone channels.

It is essential that you should have a good general level of education, at least to Level 3, and evidence of participation in appropriate training and development.

You will need experience of;

• 
  High volume administrative work,
  
• Working in a fast paced, customer-service focused team
• Working within the Data Protection Act and dealing with confidential issues
  
• Awareness of the requirements of relevant equality policies and legislation, including the Disability Discrimination Act

It is also desirable that you should have;

• 
  Experience of working with 16-19 year olds and young adults
  
• Experience of using a database to record and reference information
