We are looking for a part-time staff member to work 6-12 hours per week (Approx). Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends. You must be over 18 due to licensing law and be able to cover extra shifts during holiday periods. Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner at all times when dealing with customers.
- Process payments for products through the till ensuring money is handled accurately and with integrity.
- Actively promote and highlight offers to customers whenever appropriate.
- Present and display products correctly, following guidelines and making full use of all equipment and point of sale materials provided.
- Ensure all stock is correctly coded, priced etc with the correct point of sale.
- Receive and unpack deliveries.
- Provided the Store Manager any relevant information such as customer requests, product shortages etc.
- Ensure that the store is tidy and presentable and conforms to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure you follow all procedures set out in the store, especially those relating to health, safety and security.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by management, maintaining a cooperative and flexible working attitude at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-12 per week
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
