As a Barclays Voice Recording Engineer, you will be working with a team of internal and external partners to ratify vendor voice recording solutions to confirm they meet the business needs, governance standards and overall Barclays network strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Networks and Voice (N&V) as one of three strategic pillars delivering a bank-wide transformational programme in line with Barclays Transformation Agenda across Core Networks, Service Management, and Enterprise Tools.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally can request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. • Certifying vendor solutions to ensure they meet the business needs and complying with Barclays security standards
- Creating of technical High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) standards documentation
- Being part of a team that acts as Technical Authority for banks voice recording infrastructure
- Reviewing and approving deployment documentation and vendor spends
- Certifying vendor software releases
- Managing product lifecycle to ensure end of support dates do not impact firms voice recording estate
- Working with Infrastructure partners to prioritise work as required
- Proactively engaging stakeholders and end users to receive feedback and ensure requirements and expectations are achieved
• Expert knowledge of Verba VFC platform and Storage platforms
- Solid experience in creating documentation and diagrams
- Experience integrating voice recording platforms to Cisco, Teams, and IPC
- Experience of working on voice recording platforms in the financial services industry
• Solid understanding of Nice NTR recording platform
- Experience designing cloud recording platforms
- Good experience troubleshooting voice recording issues
- Previous experience working in a team

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
