As a Barclays Technology Delivery Lead, you will be an Integral part of Wholesale Lending Technology team that is accountable for Project Management, Technology delivery and co-ordination of change and governance for the Wholesale Lending businesses across the Investment and Corporate Bank. As a senior technologist you will engage with multiple technology teams and business stakeholders in Barclays in order to deliver a hugely important strategic initiative for the bank for the next 3 years.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
- You will be involved in the delivery of all technical change across impacted areas including articulation of programme vision/strategy and translation into a holistic delivery plan
- Delivering high-level and detailed design documents and taking ownership and control of end to end technical delivery plans and associated dependencies
- You will be managing technical delivery teams and engaging with other work streams to design, define and realise the solution that meets business needs
- Collaborating with colleagues across the corporate/ technology domains to successfully deliver change to business operation practices as well as technological capability
- Playing a major role in Implementation and cutover (planning, readiness and execution) and Service Introduction
- You will be expected to excel in stakeholder engagement, team management and technical innovation to enable the success of this vital programme
- Experience in leading technology teams in the delivery of complex technological solutions and in delivering workflow and orchestration for complex processes
- Extensive experience in the line management of multiple teams across dispersed geographies
- Knowledge of multiple modern full stack languages including Java and JavaScript
- Proven track record of engagement with business stakeholders to facilitate successful delivery
- Experience in financial services technology, ideally in the lending domain
- Experience in integration of Salesforce based solutions with proprietary systems
- Knowledge of project management tools/ techniques, waterfall and agile methodologies,
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
