As a Barclays Salesforce Business Analyst, you are a key player between business stakeholders and the development team, gathering business requirements, converting them into user stories, providing solutions and managing technical developments through to testing and release. Your team supports mainly Corporate, Fin Crime and IB business in the delivery and support of technology platforms particularly in Salesforce, Document Management systems and other workflow tools.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month, or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. • Defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements for initiatives which require Salesforce implementation
- Engaging with business SMEs to gather requirements through workshops and user interviews
- Providing clear and concise business requirements via User Stories
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of User Testing including Impact Investigation
- Identifying/anticipating obstacles and analyze and propose resolutions
- Understanding impact of proposed changes on business areas and processes
What we’re looking for:
• Broad knowledge and experience of gathering requirements and defining relevant business designs/processes within financial organizations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Sound understanding and experience of agile projects including the creation of user stories
• Proven experience in and understanding of Salesforce Business Analysis in Financial Services industry (Front Office and Client Servicing Departments)
- Broad exposure to Salesforce Servicing Cloud and Einstein Analytics
- Exposure to Salesforce API integrations
- Ability to prepare professional reports and documentation for meeting forums, including accurate documenting of meeting minutes and meeting facilitation
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command Centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
