We have an exciting opportunity to join Avanti West Coast as a Team Organiser within the Resources team!
Working within our fast paced Resource centre requires a dynamic and engaged individual looking to use this opportunity to gain insight into an exciting and complex industry.

The Team Organiser will be responsible for administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the Railway Resourcing Team. This includes general administrative duties such as, scheduling meetings, organising paperwork, handling budgeting and billing cycles, statistical reporting, data entry, managing office supply inventory etc
Key responsibilities of the role include
- Assist the operations and planning teams within the Resources office, including scheduling meetings, organising paperwork, and coordinating team activities
- Manage the team's budget and expenses, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently, leading on financial tasks, such as processing invoices and expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the department on the management of the taxi provision contract, acting as a liaison between the Resources and Procurement team
- Ensure team compliance with all company policies and procedures, with a focus on financial governance procedures, in order to support the company's goal of maintaining tight cost controls and achieving cost efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team relating to the above, managing communication and addressing any issues that arise
- Maintain and update records and databases
- Provide administrative support to the team lead and team members, including scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and tracking progress on projects as well as including drafting and proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and handling confidential information
- Ensure that team members have the tools and resources they need to be successful in their role
- Development and maintenance of Business Information reports (PowerBI) to to assist the management team as required
What sort of experience are we looking for?

¿ Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
¿ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including the Power Platform programmes (non-essential)
