We have an exciting 2 day (14 hours per week) job share opportunity for someone looking to work part time as a Group Sales Team Leader. In this role you will lead, inspire and motivate the team whilst maintaining a constant focus on maximising return from sales enquiries that arrive to the business, through offering add-ons and up-selling the full range in the Avanti West Coast offering.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Proactively support and lead the consultants to exceed organisational sales targets whilst delivering excellent customer service levels.
- Ensure complete and accurate recording and tracking of sales, invoicing, and ticketing for all group bookings.
- Instill a proactive sales culture within Group Travel Team and develop sales consultants to up-sell premium products such as First Class, Standard Premium and exclusive carriages.
- Review the productivity of the team, ensuring inbound calls and new webform & email enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
- Support the Group Sales Manager in the development of a proactive sales culture within the group team to surpass revenue forecasts.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience within the travel or hotel industry
- Knowledge of UK travel market
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
