A well established automotive and aircraft upholstery/trimming company in London is looking for a selection of good personnel due to a recent investment and expansion program.
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic skilled people to join our expanding team.
We now have open positions for one sewing machinist and three upholsterers/trimmers.
The positions are based in our workshop (London, NW10) working within a small friendly team in the automotive/aircraft upholstery department.
INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST VACANCY
You must be familiar with using an industrial sewing machine and be able to follow instructions.
Your main duties will include, pattern making, cutting various types of material and stitching of bespoke automotive and aircraft seat covers.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to use industrial sewing machines
Familiar with twin needle, top stitch, and overlocking techniques
Ability to use piping cord and Velcro where required
Experience working with different types of materials
Ability to take a cut set of patterns and sew in full to complete a cover
Have an eye for detail and be able to follow instruction
Able to work with minimal supervision

20 days paid holiday in addition to paid bank holidays
Option of overtime if required

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
