Position: Multi Trade Man/ Woman

Location: East Sussex, Kent and Surrounding Towns

Hours: Full Time

Hours: 08:00 – 17:30, Mon to Fri

Permanent

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience

Holiday: 20 days + B/Hols

Transport: Company Van will be provided to you.

Bonus: Discretionary Annual Bonus

Pension: Statutory ‘Workplace Pension’ with B&CE

Your Role

The role itself will be pivotal in the ongoing success of our company as you will support key front-line services and experiences for our customers. You will work both independently and within a team environment and should be able to adapt between the standards and expectations of differing client/customer requirements, which will be communicated to you. You should be able to recognise, with guidance, when high attention to detail and high-end finishing will be expected. You should be comfortable working across multiple disciplines and trades, be competent at demonstrating your capabilities and be able to adapt and use differing techniques, best suitable to the task and finish.

As a member of the team, we will expect and welcome regular and constructive feedback to better the company, our processes, and policies. As a front-line member of our team, you would be expected to arrive for work, suitably dressed for the environment and professionally presented. Branded workwear and PPE will be provided FOC and you will be expected to wear it at all times.

You will be expected to be able to forge meaningful relationships with others trades and operatives in the business and have an appreciation for their work type.

You will help to shape and contribute to the structure and decisions within the business, and we expect a team centric approach.

We are looking for:

• ‘Green’ CSCS card ideal.
• Erecting and dismantling access / working platforms.
• Handing over and reporting on project completion (small works).
• Repairing, replacing, and renewing gates, posts, and fencing.
• Maintaining non-structural or structural components.
• Maintaining non-structural carpentry work.
• Preparing background surfaces for plastering, tiling, panelling, or decorating.
• Applying finishing plaster to background surfaces.
• Tiling wall and floor structures.
• Hanging wall-paper coverings and applying paint systems by brush and roller.
• Removing and renewing floor screeds.
• Repairing roof membrane, tile and roof sheeting and cladding systems.
• Repairing membrane roofing systems.
• Removing and repairing eaves and verge finishings.
• Understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Able to liaise with Site Manager and office teams.
• Accurately assess material requirements.
• Predict or take instruction over timeframe requirements for completion.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Positively influences others.
• Enthusiastic.
• Self-Starter / Motivated.
• Team orientated.

Your Background

You should have a track record of working within a team environment and be able to comfortably adapt to a changing landscape and environment with relative ease.

You should have experience prioritising work demands based on importance and time constraints whilst being comfortable demonstrating your passion.

Experience working in both domestic and commercial environments ideal, however not essential.

Full Clean Driving Licence Essential.
