Tech Startup Marketing and Operations Associate

Are you an aspiring operations generalist with design and marketing skills and passionate about technology?

At Archangel Imaging, you will be working alongside a fun, experienced and forward-thinking team to deliver transformative AI solutions that help organisations like Network Rail and Ministry of Defence better protect our service personnel, critical infrastructure and first responders over large, remote areas. But that's not all! We work extensively with industry drones and robotics partners to create turn-key solutions, so you will have exposure to the latest cutting-edge technologies. The Role:
To support our growth, we are looking for an aspiring operations professional who is eager to learn in a high-paced and fulfilling environment, where we will empower you to shine in your role. You will be working hands-on in different business operations areas on rotation and eventually specialising in one of them (marketing, finance, HR, facilities and office administration, legal – we can help you choose), reporting to the operations manager and working daily with operations team and management team.

What will you be responsible for?

• HR & recruitment: oversee and contribute directly in HR and recruitment activities and initiatives to help us effectively hire, reward and retain the best teammates possible
• Marketing: oversee and contribute directly in content creation, social media management, branding, market research and analytics
• Finance: oversee timely and accurate finance and procurement activities
• Office and facilities management: ensure effective day to day operations and continuous improvements, provide logistical support, ensure positive company representation with company visitors and callers, provide general admins support to help other teammates more productive
• Depending on your background and interests, the opportunity to get involved with IT and Legal functions

Must-haves

• Simple project coordination experience demonstrating good task management, timekeeping, teamwork and organisational skills
• Prior operations or recruitment experience in startups or equivalent where you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-autonomy environment
• Marketing proficiency with excellent writing skills and good design skills to deliver social media routines and campaigns

Nice to haves (you will stand out if you have these but they are not essential requirements)

• Basic IT skills / understanding to provide simple IT support or write more technical marketing content
• Hardware technology industry experience

Location:

Hybrid. We thrive on being a tight-knit team! As such, we encourage everyone who can to get together at our office in Oxford a couple of days a week.
