Are you currently working in hospitality but looking for a little more fun in your role? Do you like the idea of working in a theme park environment? Perhaps you are looking for a part time morning or evening job? Well, we have a fabulous opportunity to work within our park and hotel operations at Thorpe Park Resort. You would be based in one of our restaurants working alongside our amazing team of chefs and cooks.

The Role

In this role you'll help to ensure that the facilities in our kitchens are maintained to the highest standards. We need people to help keep the strictest levels of cleanliness in the food preparation areas, by working closely with all of the Chefs in our busy kitchens.

​Working straight shifts on a rota basis, the role offers excellent prospects for those interested in a career as a Chef or any other aspect of the catering industry. We proactively seek to develop all of our employees who show promise. We currently have full time and part time positions available.

Your main responsibilities will include

• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation. This may involve cutting, peeling and washing food items
• Keeping the kitchen clean and providing a safe working environment for all
• Preparing the kitchen area prior to service
• Supporting with deliveries and making sure stock is tidy
• Working as part of a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly
• Washing and cleaning dishes

Pay and Benefits

Qualifications and experience needed

• No previous experience needed as we will give you all the training you need to be the best at this role
• Flexibility in availability is preferred
• Willingness to learn
• A positive can-do attitude
