Aramark have an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to work within our catering team at HMP Oakwood to provide 3 meals per day to 2078 prisoners. This is a role that involves working with & supervising a Prisoner Workforce.
This is a customer facing role and requires a proactive individual.
Key requirements:
You will need to be flexible and motivated.
You will be required to obtain security clearance to work in this environment, which will include 5 years address history within the UK.
You must be 18 or over.
You will be working inside a prison kitchen working alongside prisoners to support them on the production and cooking of food.
You will be working with a happy team of chefs; you must be motivational have a positive outlook and have attention to detail.
You will have knowledge of health and food safety legislation. Be able to deal with conflict.
We serve breakfast, Lunch, and evening meals.
Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or Equivalent this can be gained at site.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12 per week
