Aquatix 2 U ltd is a family owned/run online retail company specialising in the sale and distribution of Pond, Aquarium, Pet & Leisure products. We are seeking a Supervisor for our warehouse team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate a small team. You will proactively take ownership of a wide range of tasks, dealing professionally with any issues that may arise.

This is a fast-paced environment, and it will be a hands-on role. It will require someone who thrives on multi-tasking and also on the daily challenge of ensuring that our KPI’s are met.

Examples of Main Duties and Responsibilities: -

· Liaise with and report to Senior Administrator.

· Supervise warehouse team, responsible for allocating work for the day to warehouse staff. Review performance of staff with Senior Admin.

· Ensuring that the warehouse team achieve daily KPI’s.

· Ensure that H & S, PPE, Safe working policies are adhered to at all times.

· Training new Warehouse staff and completing inductions.

· Organising the warehouse, preparing for deliveries/containers. Booking in deliveries, putting away etc.

· Constantly seeking to improve processes and help the warehouse team work more efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Experience of picking and packing for online retail is desirable.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The proven ability to organise, plan and prioritise a changing workload.

Qualifications

GCSE/A Level Equivalent

Job Type- Full time permanent

Hours- 5 days per week (including Sundays from Mar- Aug)

Must have own transport to get to Copdock Ipswich.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
