AMI Medical, a leading medical garment manufacturer, is seeking an experienced sewing machinist to enhance our skilled team.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiently operate industrial sewing machines, including threading up and adjusting machine tensions.
- Execute sewing tasks with precision and accuracy, paying attention to detail.
- Utilize expertise in sewing underwear, hosiery, or corsetry, as our operations involve similar machinery.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a sewing machinist, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in handling various industrial sewing machines.
- Knowledge of threading techniques and adjustments for optimal machine performance.
- Proven expertise in sewing garments such as underwear, hosiery, or corsetry.
- Ability to work autonomously, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting rate: £10.50 per hour. This rate is subject to review based on experience.
