Due to ongoing expansion, Alten Ltd is looking for a Production Engineersto join our team in Banbury within the Automotive sector. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values of: Excellence, Accountability, Integrity and Service.
Your new role:
As a Production Engineer, you will be one of our consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Automotive industry.
As a Production Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- To write CNC programs.
- To ensure a smooth day to day running of the small batch-based manufacturing operation which includes one off prototype work.
- Liaison with Designers, buyers, internal and external customers.
- Scheduling and pricing of work.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a Production Engineer and a consultant.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience programming Hypermill CAD/CAM.
- Knowledge in pricing.
- Previous experience in small batch-based manufacturing operation.
Qualifications required:
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrable experience.
