AGS, a building and facilities software development company is looking for a Full Stack Dev.

A little bit about AGS:

AGS in its current form was created at the end of 2019.

AGS has built itself around a platform we call AGS360. AGS360 is a Management system aimed at Building managers and owners.

With new legislation and the need for a greener, more sustainable built environment AGS hopes to lead the way with its technology.

AGS360 has been developed by us from a concept through to operational use. It is in its 3rd iteration (somewhat influenced by the C19 pandemic) and is looking to grow beyond the current limitations.

Permanent role starting ASAP.

AGS is open to remote workers, ideally, the candidate will be UK-based, willing to work within our offices and be located in Essex, London, Kent or Herts.

AGS is looking for a talented Developer to build and develop our bespoke building management software (BMS). The work will be largely based on an existing codebase but will allow expansion into IoT and AI among other related technologies.

The role will benefit from an existing, experienced team to support the learning and handover period (estimated at approx. 12 months).

The role benefits from being very varied in its requirement and the ideal candidate is encouraged to bring new ideas and influences.

AGS are very much looking for someone who would be willing to grow into the role and make it their own with view to growing a department over time. AGS is looking to employ a 2nd Dev within 12 months once this role is filled. You will have a part in this process.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the creation of build procedures for new products and features.

The role will liaise and communicate with other departments as necessary.

The role will cover:

· PHP/MySQL database web-app developed on the Yii2 Framework.

· Improvements and modifications to the existing website to include a raft of new features.

· Investigation and practical application of IoT technologies

· Investigation and practical application of AI (such as integration of OpenAI or equiv.)

· New feature development based on customer and business needs

Full-time

Ideally office-based (Thornwood, Nr Epping, Essex)

£45,000 to £55,000 annual salary (PAYE)
