About This Role

We have an exciting opportunity for skilled and motivated Administrator to join our team at the Taunton PET CT Centre. You should ideally have experience in a Healthcare environment as you will be required to meet and greet patients.

Alliance Medical runs Taunton PET CT Centre in partnership with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Serving patients across the county, the centre is located within the Musgrove Park Hospital grounds making it more accessible and convenient for referrers and their patients.

A key element of the role is to make telephone bookings for patients attending our PET-CT service. To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills. A flexible, organized and enthusiastic attitude is essential.

This role is 40 hours per week, Monday – Sunday.

Required Skills and Experience

As a successful applicant you must be able to demonstrate:

• experience using Microsoft office
• skills of organising filing systems and computer files
• good customer service skills
• excellent communication skills, as you will be both patient facing and using the telephone.
• IT literacy
• excellent organisational skills
• the ability to work well under pressure
• the ability to multi task
