The Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf, Spa and Leisure facilities nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 185 acres of beautiful countryside, this four-star hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests alike.
The hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms, restaurant, bar and all public areas with further plans to redevelop and expand throughout 2023 and 2024, increasing the number of Bedrooms, an additional fine dining restaurant, and an opulent new Spa with state-of-the-art facilities.

Reports to: Bunkers Bar, Restaurant Golf Manager
Salary: £11 per hour
Hours of work: 40 hours/week, 5 days per week

As Bunkers FB Supervisor you are responsible for overseeing your department to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience in accordance with the Aldwark Manor Estate Service Standards. The working times will be between 7am and Midnight working 5 days per week, including daytimes, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
FB Supervisors need food service and waiting skills, alongside excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with guests and colleagues. FB Supervisors also need excellent knowledge of food preparationa and hygiene standards as well as the ability to lead and develop their team. A successful FB Supervisor candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience of Restaurant or Bar Supervisor
- Ability to work in different areas of Food Beverage including Breakfast, Bar, Restaurant, Conference Events
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service
- The ability to manage, motivate delegate tasks to your team
- Ensure compliance with brand standards
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist Bunkers Manager with achieving financial targets
- Carry out cleaning duties as assigned to you in and an awareness of Safety and Security policies and procedures, ensuring relevant records are completed daily
- Ensure wastage and breakages are recorded correctly and assist with the ordering of stock as required
- Ensure the Golf Shop runs effectively in the absence of the Golf Shop assistant or Bunkers Manager
- Be responsible for cashing up and locking up securely at the end of the day
- Complete company training modules as required to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety policies and procedures
