AK Teaching are looking to hire Sports Coaches to work within our partner SEMH schools across Northumberland as learning support assistants.
Our partner schools work with a range of ages, so confidence working with different age groups is beneficial. Past experience in a classroom setting would also be beneficial. In this role you will be working with pupils who display challenging behaviours, so you must be able to show resilience and strong behaviour management.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to learners in an SEMH environment
- Liaising with members of staff
- Managing challenging behaviours
All applicants must have a fully enhanced DBS, ideally on the update service, or be willing to apply for a one through AK Teaching.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Salary: £70.00-£80.00 per day
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bedlington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
