Junior Accounts Assistant
Location: Rathfriland, Newry
Salary; Negotiable
Hours: 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm)

Airtastic Entertainment Centres which is also part of the Funky Monkeys Group is a dynamic business that operates in N. Ireland, Republic of Ireland and mainland UK. The head office of the group is in
Northern Ireland. The business specialises in a high professional delivery of services/activity centres in the leisure industry and the groups area of expertise is in children’s soft play centres, trampoline parks, inflata parks, indoor mini golf, bowling, machine arcades and cafés/diners within the centres.
Due to further expansion, we are now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
Reporting to the Company Accountant.
General accounting duties including but not limited to:
Posting journals
Invoice posting
Bank reconciliations
Payment of invoices
General admin duties
Assisting senior members of the accounts team with monthly management accounts
Any other duties as required
The Person
Previous experience in a similar environment desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with people both internally and externally
Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
Experience in the use of Microsoft excel, word and outlook
Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts desirable but not essential as full training will be given
The Salary
Competitive and dependent on experience

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
