Special Gases Operator - Worcester

We are looking for:

Special Gases Operator
Location: Worcester, Warndon Business Park

As the Operator you will be responsible for:

• Filling non-refillable canisters with a range of special gases mixtures
• Despatch activities, including generating IATA (air), IMDG (sea) and ADR (road) dangerous goods notes, booking shipments on to external courier services and having good working knowledge of legal packaging and labelling requirements
• Meet established production and despatch schedules in line with supply KPI’s
• Operating compressors, vacuum pumps, running cryogenic and non-cryogenic pumps
• Pre-treatment and passivation of cylinders and canisters for reactive gas filling
• Preparing (vent, heat and evacuate) returned cylinders which contain a wide range of hazardous products to high levels of quality such that they can be filled with Specialty Gas mixtures.

A full extensive training plan will be available, which lasts a minimum of 6-12 months and full support will be provided by our experienced team.

You will have:

• A positive and energetic attitude towards work
• An Excellent attention to detail, with a huge focus and understanding of Safety Processes
• PC skills of a level capable of simple work on Microsoft Office packages and AP systems
• Enthusiastic, can-do attitude to work within a small tight nit team and ability to plan their own work effectively (with guidance).
