Advisers (full time and part time hours)

We are currently seeking Advisers to join our dynamic growing organisation where you can really make an impact, not just on the organisation, but to improve the lives of people in Northern Ireland.

Advice Space, formerly Citizens Advice Belfast, is all about making sure that advice services are accessible and available across Northern Ireland. Providing a high-quality service for more than 50 years, we support clients in delivering specialist advice and speaking up for them where we can. We work with lots of other charities developing and delivering advice to their service users.

You will provide advice covering a broad subject range, undertake casework, and act for the client with some outreach work where necessary. You will be up to date with new developments, social trends and local needs that might affect demand for advice or require you to make suggestions for service change.

To be successful in the position, you will have experience of providing advice to the public along with a recognised qualification in Advice work e.g., a programme provided by Citizens Advice or Law Centre (NI).

We will also consider candidates without the qualification but with some advice experience for a development position.

With a good knowledge of GDPR and client confidentiality, you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. You will have a proven ability to build relationships at all levels and to cope well under pressure.
