advanced store GmbH, founded in Berlin in 2008, offers data-driven and scalable performance marketing solutions. We operate worldwide as a digital advertising service provider in the areas of performance display ads, native ads and social media ads. With our team of more than 40 people, we generate more than 50,000 transactions per month for our clients.

We support clients worldwide, plan and coordinate online campaigns for them, analyze performance and develop optimization proposals. We represent our company at events and coordinate various marketing activities to further raise our profile.

We are now looking for a Junior Account Manager Japan (m/f/d) to support and further develop our business in the Japanese market.

Aufgaben

• Support the implementation and development of strategic initiatives for existing partnerships in the Japanese performance marketing market.
• Manage day-to-day communication with Japanese clients, agencies, brands, and affiliate networks and build strong, long-term relationships.
• Coordinate campaign activities and ensure smooth communication between clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns based on daily, weekly, and monthly performance data and KPIs.
• Identify performance trends, opportunities, and potential challenges and translate data into actionable optimization proposals.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Japanese digital advertising and performance marketing landscape, including emerging business models, market trends, and industry developments.
• Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows related to our activities in Japan.
• Proactively identify operational challenges and work with internal stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Support the planning, preparation, and follow-up of trade fairs, industry events, customer meetings, and other marketing activities.
• Represent advanced store at relevant industry events and help strengthen our presence and network in the Japanese market.

Qualifikation

• First professional experience in account management, performance marketing, affiliate marketing, digital advertising, or eCommerce.
• A genuine interest in digital marketing and the Japanese online advertising market.
• Fluent written and spoken Japanese.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in working with campaign data, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• A proactive, independent, and reliable approach to work.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• The ability to identify operational challenges independently and develop practical solutions.
• A hands-on mentality and willingness to take ownership.
• A team-oriented personality who enjoys working in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment.
