Job description
We are supporting Well Played Games as they look for a passionate Game Artist to join their dynamic, Unity based team.
Founded in 2017, the studio is a growing and experienced games development company based in Leamington Spa, who develop a variety of video games for mobile.
As a Game Artist at the Well Played Games, you will develop a wide range of mobile game ready assets, with a strong technical understanding of Unity.
Your responsibilities…
- Utilise your self-sufficiency and versatility to push the boundaries of creativity in your work environment
- Collaborate with the art team to level up the asset quality bar across multiple projects
- Implement a strong technical knowledge of Unity when handling areas such as shader creation
- Ability to apply given critique to your work and devise solutions, whilst communicating these ideas to the team
- 5 or more years experience in a comparable role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your range of art skills
- Skilled generalist artist, confident working in 2D, 3D, VFX, and at concept stages for mobile development
- Self-organised, with the ability to work across multiple projects
- Enjoy working in small, dynamic teams on established brand IP
- Self-sufficient, motivated, and a team player mentality
